A cornerstone of Biologique Recherche’s iconic approach to epidermal reconditioning, Lotion P50 is a multitasking acid toner designed to gently exfoliate, purify, and regulate sebum production while maintaining the skin’s ideal pH balance. This formula blends alpha, beta, and polyhydroxy acids—including lactic, salicylic, gluconolactone, and phytic acid—with sulfur and botanical extracts like horseradish root, thyme, onion bulb, and myrrh resin to visibly improve skin texture, clarity, and radiance. With daily use, it helps unclog pores, reduce the appearance of imperfections, and rebalance Skin Instants® prone to seborrhea or keratinization—leaving the complexion visibly smoother, more refined, and luminous. SKIN SCIENCE The name "P50" comes from “P” for peeling and “50” for the two complete epidermal cycles (about 25 days each) required to recondition the skin. Regular use helps regulate excess sebum, gently exfoliate keratinized buildup, and rebalance the skin’s microbiome. Lactic, salicylic, citric, and phytic acids work synergistically to dissolve dead skin cells and refine texture. Sulfur and botanical extracts (onion, myrrh, thyme, horseradish) help detoxify and calm inflammation.
